The Department of Political Science is located on the third floor of Faner Hall near the south end of the building (the end nearest the Student Center). To find Faner Hall, click here, and look for "Thompson Woods" near the center of the map on Page 2. Faner Hall is the long, narrow building lying northeast of the woods. Summer Institute

| Professor Bloom (Ph.D., UCLA, 2004) joined the SIUC faculty in Fall 2006. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He is editor, with Mitchell A. Orenstein and Nicole Lindstrom, of Transnational Actors in Central and East European Transitions. (Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh University Press, 2008). His work is also featured in Comparative Political Studies and Europe-Asia Studies. | |
