How To Locate Us

The Department of Political Science is located on the third floor of Faner Hall near the south end of the building (the end nearest the Student Center). To find Faner Hall, click here, and look for "Thompson Woods" near the center of the map on Page 2. Faner Hall is the long, narrow building lying northeast of the woods.

Faner may seem bewildering to first-time visitors, but the 4-digit office numbers are easy to decode: the 1st digit is the floor, the 2nd digit is the section (starting from the south with 0), and the last two digits are the office (20s through 40s on the west side, 60s through 80s on the east). Thus room 3077, the Department main office, is located on the 3rd floor, 1st section, east corridor. For reference, click here.
