The Department of Political Science is located on the third floor of Faner Hall near the south end of the building (the end nearest the Student Center). To find Faner Hall, click here, and look for "Thompson Woods" near the center of the map on Page 2. Faner Hall is the long, narrow building lying northeast of the woods. Summer Institute

Welcome to the homepage of the Department of Political Science at Southern Illinois University. Our department offers Bachelors of Arts, Master of Arts, Master of Public Administration, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. There are currently 16 full time professors who teach and research in the areas of International Relations, Comparative Politics, Political Theory, American Government & Politics, Public Law, and Administration. This page is designed as a tool for students interested in studying political science as an undergraduate or as a graduate student. It also provides information about the people who work here, specifically focusing on their teaching and resources.
